World of Warcraft doesn’t have the best graphics out there. In fact, it’s probably on the same level as a glorified Warcraft III engine with significantly more detail. But what really gives Blizzard the golden teat on this one is the art direction. The attention to detail is what really makes the player feel deeply immersed. Each area has a very atmospheric feel to it that truly make you feel as though you are a part of something bigger than your character. Peppered throughout the game are these little touches of finesse and style that make the environment come to life in a way that hasn't really even been attempted before. Each area's theme has such a comfortable feel to them, you are able to experience the Warcraft Universe in ways that have never been explored before.
